That's actually crazy.... I have had an Instagram since like the start but have no posts on my account. I guess I have a pfp but that's it. I also don't really get on it.

This is probably an unpopular opinion especially on this sub and something that will probably never happen realistically with the way the world is going but it is an extremely cool feature. If this was not done by companys that already harvest data etc and was as private as something like this can be such as your device communication to another device has a uuid that does not tie back to "you" if that makes sense or something not sure. Because there are some use cases that could be extremely good such as the one comment here about stalkers etc.

Am I misunderstanding something this actually sounds like a positive thing. Although I wish it was not just for "foreign adversary country; or any entity that is controlled by a foreign adversary." And instead just in general

I believe it's called matrix. Only problem is there is no 0 percent chance I'll convince anyone I play games with to switch off discord unless the ads hurt there frames lol.

Yes the main dns server for my router is the IP of the computer. adguard works for devices on my tailscale network only

Yes every device I have looked at have the first DNS set to the IP of server and then a back up of 1.1.1.1 just in case

Yes this was the problem. I had it set up this way originally but added it as a back up in case things broke. I guess I can not do that. Thanks again

Genuine question how would we "fix" our society by removing those jobs and keep same or more people. What jobs would they do. Having robots do Amazon workhouse jobs would displace thousands of people who work that for a job where would they go. They can't just become software developers or medical workers etc. The way I see it is we just need more jobs in general so removing some is a total negative unless we have somewhere for them to go.

Oh yes I have jellyfin ready to go whenever I actually use it for books as of right now. Just moving over from a windows laptop to Linux and using docker.
