If you haven’t got any dice handy you can use random.org to generate the numbers for you. Or even select a set of words from the list

unlogic ,

I meant use random.org select the words directly rather than go through the steps of getting numbers and then lookup.

I get the bias. A big weakness in the one time pads from WW2 was the word callers putting words back they thought were too frequent :)

Linkding which is like pinboard but self hosted. Just because it’s simple. I could do with just using browser sync but hey, I’ve got a server running so I might as well host it

On larger bottles when I pour into a glass the attached lid always swings round. And it’s awkward to hold it wwhile pouring.

Wouldn’t Tailscale funnel achieve what they want? https://tailscale.com/kb/1223/funnel

unlogic ,

Ah yes. Good point. I haven’t used it myself yet as I’ve not had reason too. Just on my list of Tailscale things to try out

As an aside you can use Nextcloud’s WebDAV to sync Joplin if you wanted to reduce the number of services running on your server. Not sure how it compares in performance though.

How to access external NextCloud datafolder

So, i have a NextCloud instance running, with the data directory binded to a folder on my storage. Now, when ik want to list or edit the contents of this folder directly from Nautilus or the terminal, I get a permission denied message. Obviously i do not have sufficent rights. How do i give myself permissions to at least view...

unlogic ,

Easiest way would be to use the Nextcloud desktop app which will mount your Nextcloud and present them inside nautilus for you to do as you wish.

unlogic ,

I am guessing you are on Linux. Nextcloud has the file system available via WebDAV. Mount the WebDAV to a local mount and go from there perhaps?
