You've tried one gaming community and one general technology community. My guess is that a low percentage of people on either are going to be playing this game and particularly playing it on Linux. I think that I'd have asked !linux_gaming if you don't want to use the Steam support forum for the game, which is what I'd have tried first.

Can't say I've ever tried to use "remote play together" with a game through proton. Does RPT work for you on other games? And what version of proton are you on?
