How do you figure? Red light cameras decrease frequency and severity of crashed at signalized intersections. https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/R/R46552

There is some increase in rear ended, but those are much less severe than right angle or pedestrian collisions.

Cities adjusting the dilemma zone, or increasing speed limit; is a problem with revenue usage of red light cameras; and revenues should be going to victim funds. It also seems to be a uniquely USA problem? That could be a taxation and funding source issue.

I take argument with #5 as a concept.

My region is against speed and red light cameras out of freedom and privacy arguments; so people get slaughtered by cars instead.

Fine for selfhosting though.

Nouveau_Burnswick , to Selfhosted in Services to host on a retired laptop?

I use my laptop server for babybuddy so I can take it with me.
Then if I find there's a service I really want I the go, it gets loaded there as well.

Exactly. Canada/USA won't have the same regulations as Switzerland, but we can certainly have similar regulations.

Perhaps something like this

In Switzerland, minimum frequency standards for public transport are enshrined in law – meaning each citizen can expect regular provision of bus and train services, even in rural areas. It is administrated at local level, with each of the country's 'cantons' setting out a framework for delivery.

In the Zurich canton, for instance, which is roughly comparable with South Yorkshire, England, and includes both urban and rural areas, villages of 300 people or more are guaranteed a bus service at least every hour. In the Bern canton, which is less densely populated than Devon, small villages get at least four and up to 15 return bus services each day.

In both places, schedules are aligned with railway timetables to ensure citizens can travel short or long distances with ease. Accessibility for disabled passengers is also a legal requirement.

The "we" would be everyone who is not the "37 per cent of urban areas globally, and just 52 per cent of the urban population, [who] have convenient access to public transport."

Nouveau_Burnswick , to Selfhosted in Script (for watchtower?) removing all but the last old docker image

So my thought with the time based pruning is that you can keep a backup that's X days old.

Let's say you keep 2 weeks. If there have been no problems with an image after 2 weeks of an update, you're probably good to go. If you have an issue during those 2 weeks, you can return to and image within those 2 weeks. If you've had no problems after 2 weeks, it's probably stable.

Adjust 2 weeks to whatever you're comfortable with.

Not to my knowledge, but you can set up a cron job to prune containers older than X days.

Fair, my instance is on my homeserver.

Libreddit is alive if you selfhost your own instance.

Nouveau_Burnswick , to Mildly Infuriating in This isn't a "hybrid" schedule, that's a 4 day work week

It's hybrid because you get to work from home when we want you to work evenings and weekends!
