I thought they already had decent tooling and standard libraries?

areyouevenreal , to Technology in Backdoor found in widely used Linux utility breaks encrypted SSH connections

In this case though the backdoor was added recently so updating could do the opposite of help here. Luckily I don't think any stable distros added the new version.

I mean compared to things like Alpine which use musl and busybox you could consider it bloated yes.

Someone has never done software development or worked on a build pipeline and it shows. Obviously complex software has lots of dependencies especially compiling from source.

I never said genocide is entertaining. It's really not. How did you get from a joke about preferential voting not being in America to genocide? From what I understand of American politics both are potentially genocidal, so I don't even know how much preferential voting would help.

Where I live also doesn't have preferential voting if it makes you feel better.

areyouevenreal , to linuxmemes in What is the most difficult problem that you have fixed in linux?

It's been a long time but generally network issues and reinstalling bootloaders or kernels. Fairly easy if you can chroot.

The benefit is:

a) you know what needs to change

b) you know what country to move to if it doesn't change

c) it's entertaining

Then I back up my statement. Shut the fuck up and do what your are told.

This not you? Just because I answered your question.

Also why are you picking on me, who has had three vaccines?

I am not arguing with you. You asked who the house of lords is and I answered. Stop arguing with people in your head and read what's actually in front of you. Why are you screaming at me for answering a question?

areyouevenreal , to Comic Strips in What did we learn from Covid? (Jen Sorensen)

I didn't post a link as evidence. Are you daft? I saw the question you asked and I answered it. Look at the usernames.

The fact I live in the UK?! Seriously I am not the guy who posted that link, but I thought I would answer a basic question about the country I live in and now I am getting asked for a source? Are you serious?

areyouevenreal , to Comic Strips in What did we learn from Covid? (Jen Sorensen)

Yes because becoming homeless is totally a valid choice. Jesus christ, I bet you are even one of the haters of capitalism elsewhere, but can't accept basic economic consequences here.

areyouevenreal , to Comic Strips in What did we learn from Covid? (Jen Sorensen)

Wanting to survive and not end up homeless isn't about wanting "the best of both worlds".

I am triple Vaccinated. Stop talking as if I am an antivaxxer just for suggesting people's livelihoods should be dependent on a medical procedure.
