Ive heard the term porky used before to denote someone who likes capitalism so not always. Either way there are loads of anti authoritarians on the left so calling someone a cop would be an insult.
Fair I have heard people say "American bullshit" before and complain about the news regularly in the UK. That being said most of the newspapers here are just rags. For an example post any Daily Mail article and someone will point out how terrible that publication is.
