ChocoboRocket , 5 months ago I'm happy I found this show when I was 17, heard about it through an acquaintance, and found the English subs on Kazaa. Perfect show at the perfect time of my life, definitely has a massive nostalgia factor and helped me work through some stuff. If I were to see it for the first time today, 20 years later, I'm not sure it would have the same impact. While it may not be for everyone, Evangelion is the standalone best anime for me and I rewatch it often.
