What's so bad about it? I honestly like Oxygen OS, and preferred Android 11 over 12. All they did was add unnecessary security features that further locked the user out of their system. Just install a different launcher (Nova is my favorite by far) and custom icons if you want to change the visual appearance, and done.

The fingerprint sensor doesn't work most of the time, the light sensor thinks its in my pocket when its in my hand (and thinks that its in my hand when its in my pocket), the battery started draining rapidly within a year of purchase, and much more. Is there an Oxygen release for my phone? When I checked about a year ago, all I could find was an unofficial Lineage release that seemed sketchy

Oxygen is OnePlus' proprietary OS.

Unless you bought your phone in China, you should already have Oxygen. That's the default OnePlus OS.
