The fact that we can’t remove essential complexity with a software redesign doesn’t mean that there’s nothing we can do about it. What if the problem definition wasn’t outside of our purview? What if we could get the world to conform to the software, and not just the other way around?

Congress continues to push for censorship bills to "protect the kids" online rather than passing comprehensive privacy laws that would protect all users from predatory data gathering and sales that target us for advertising and abuse.
Currently working on an important first update to Tusks that will address many of the early pain points/limitations. Should be submitted for App Store review no later than tomorrow night.
One technology which I think deserves more hype (it is getting a little) are Conflict-free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs)!
I made sure to include it in my exploration of a minimal yet inclusive OS (upcoming page), quote:

@darktable Yes, really looking forward! I really love how fast Darktable is evolving. Thanks a lot to all the developers! I am right now editing a whole wedding shooting and I am glad there is no cloud, AI or license bullshit I have to deal with, and no need to use Windows. Just editing images and my customers love the results.
