This guy being interviewed is such a thorough caricature of a police officer it'd be bad writing in a comedy sketch. Completely and willfully out of his depths on the topic but compensating by way of a complete lack of shame and a bottomless pool of unwarranted self confidence.

Hard not to imagine him tapping his bobby helmet with his baton and gracelessly circling back to his stupid bullet point (we don't want a back door, we just want a little bit of back door) every time he's asked a probing question.
