You're not going to have much luck finding a search engine with good results that doesn't depend on google or bing. Kagi is no different. Using a searx instance is probably best if you're looking for something without official agreements with bing or google. It can be pretty complicated without a phone. Especially if your computer doesn't have a webcam.

I've seen it in private browsing for a while now, but it has also just started happening in a normal window. My solution was to switch to ddg for now. Disabling js breaks image browsing for me.

I used waydroid for whatsapp, though any android emulator will probably work. To create the account, there was an option to verify a phone number by sending a text message (to a dumb phone with a burner sim card in my case). I use whatsapp web to read and send messages, and only have to open waydroid every few months to sign-in again.

I can import and export multi-page PDFs into inkskape just fine. No need to do each page individually.

My version also seems to be 1.3.2. When I select (*.pdf) from the export panel, it lets me select all the pages at once, which results in a single PDF.

I searched up "Lemmy" on the PlayStore and noticed that Reddit appears right before the last lemmy client in that search X3 do u guys know if there r any other lemmy clients worth trying? I randomly felt like trying all I could find and for now I'll stay on Jerboa and the Web UI but I use Voyager too now, mainly for DMs...

I'm not sure I agree on the trust thing. I prefer to trust a single source of curated apps, rather than many individual developers. I like to imagine that f-droid would remove a malicious update before it gets to my phone.

It should be held back. Although I dislike the company, I believe safari's market share and use of an alternative browser engine is important in keeping google from closing the web.
