And it will take me all of 60 seconds to turn off cloudflare on my instance I I ever have to and 5 min for TTL on the DNS to expire, bit in saying that I have moved from a small indipendent VPS to a much larger provider for cost saving (Mostly for storage, but also double the core count).

It looks like it was a Plex scan that tied it's self up in knots and locked up the SMB share and it just happened that it was the QBT container that I noticed it on first.

Some of the logs did mention Plex was soft locked as well.

It has been a few years (shit near 15 years) since I used LaTex, and I didn't use it that often so it wasn't ingrained. But even then it was much easier than trying to get publisher for format things

I suspect losing a LaTeX doc hurt more than a 'word' doc

I work with 365 and have to create docs from yesterday's version (or last weeks etc) all the time. Auto save can be a real pain in the arse.

Turn it off, save as <yyyy-mm-dd-DocName>, oh hell auto save is back on...

BlueEther , to Selfhosted in virtualizing PFSense. What else works besides ESXi for virtual networking?

All doable, you might need a managed or smart switch though

I have 4 bland at home plus untagged all through proxmox and a smart switch

  • one for wan
  • one for web facing servers
  • one for iot
  • one for guest wifi
  • rest of lab is untagged
