If your hard drive has dust it would've failed a long time ago. They are designed to be extremely clean. The head is like a 747 flying an inch above the ground. It sounds like an urban myth to scare people.

The posting essentially says there is no risk than tosses out mercury and lead vapors which don't exist in a HDD. Then it talks about the lead in solder. You'd have to vigorously rub and handle the solder on circuit boards to get any amount on your skin worth worrying about and then you just wash your hands. That risk is true of all boards that don't use low or lead free solder. The whole comment is very hypothetical.

Google has gotten really bad with the sponsored links. Not only are they only identified with a small "ad sponsored" disclaimer that is easy to miss on a phone screen but I've run into sponsored results that are blatant scams that I've had to report to google. Seemingly no effort on their part to screen these before they let them get posted.

I've also had to resort to altering my search engine results to always filter out quora and pinterest because they have gamed SEO so badly that they choke my results with garbage. Both demand you open accounts to see much (nope) and quora is a cesspool of bad answers and trolls.

Looking for product reviews is a real struggle. I'll see the same review plastered across a bunch of sketchy websites at the top of my results. They look like they only exist for manufacturers to post paid reviews.

Yup, I've had to park poorly because everyone else around me had parked badly. Usually one person will park way out of line "Don't want my car getting dinged!" and that causes a domino effect where everyone else has to park badly too. Now if the one next to you leaves you look like the dick.

He was treated like a joke candidate by the Democrats at the time. Facebook didn't get him elected, Hillary ran a weak campaign and didn't take the threat seriously. He used FB for fundraising and she could've done the same thing if she wanted to.
