So basically it is up to you to inform yourself and make a concious decision which ai service you use. Like how you can use ecosia instead of google or host your webserice in norway instead of the american east coast (renewable energy instead of coal)

How about other countries? There has been a cooking advice for my region for the past 5 days. It was lifted today, but a new cooking advice was issued for the region next to mine. The cooking advice says to boil your tap water for 3 minutes before drinking, because they found enterecococcen bacteria in the water.

Could this be a cyber attack? Like, there's not really a bacteria in the water, but the system is made to think there is.

It has nothing to with communism. Totalitarianism is more approriate. They do not allow any opinion except for the approved ones. They do not allow free discussions. They do not alllow critisism toward China or Russia.

That is not what communism is about, but that is what communism often manifests into when human greed and power hunger come into play though.

The problem with that is that it is kindof te default instance with many "default communities". That's because (allegedly) the devs of lemmy are on lemmy.ml and it used to be a default on join-lemmy.org

The problem with buses (on busy lines), and I don't see how to overcome it, is that they get full. I'd rather have a slow traffic jam than having to let 3 or 4 buses pass you by because they are full. This is on a line that rides every 7 minutes. But on tuesdays and thursdays, you can't get a bus from my stop at 5 o'clock.

I also bought some spare parts from AE, because they were literally nowhere else to be found except for other, more shady chinese websites. I would get spam mails from AE for months though. They'd send it from a different email adress everytime. Multiple mails per day that were unblockable.

So yeah, it s a legit business, but it's not a good business. Might be worse than amazon.

You're saying that capitalism isn't inherently evil and it serves an actual purpose? That capitalism itself doesn't destroy the world, but an improper use of the system is to blame? And might even imply that there is a way to keep using the old, familiar capitalistic systems without extorting the working class and stripping the world of every last resource?
