Or you could just switch DHCP over to the Pi-hole. Most ISP routers support turning off DHCP even if you can't change their DNS.

Honestly don't bother. Ublock is better at blocking ads. Pihole is for devices on your network that can't use conventional ad blockers and is less effective.

a) I am not using unraid

b) I was aware of using tailscale or a VPN. I don't really want to do that as it requires running my whole connection through home Internet.

c) I also want to setup a reverse proxy even if I do only use it locally just so I am not dealing with ports and IPs. No bookmarks are not practical I have too many as it is.

d) At this point I am doing this the "right" way or at least the complex way because I can.

Why use a VPN instead of a proxy? I found configuring a proxy much easier. I hate to say it but that stack is too simple for my setup. It's missing half the stuff I use. I have also been avoiding qbittorrent because of issues with it forgetting login details.

It doesn't come across as particularly rude given what the offense here is. Someone blamed other projects for their mistake after getting called out. That deserves harsh criticism.

I think you are talking about American ideals. Not ideals in the English speaking world. Nothing here is remotely toxic by British standards. Swearing isn't a big deal here, people regularly call each other swear words as a sign of affection. If someone does something stupid you can say they are acting like an idiot and hopefully they will listen. If you didn't they might not think you are serious.

We produce more than enough food to feed everyone. Even if you say something like logistics is an issue, we could still feed everyone in the developed nations at least, but we don't. That's a choice.

Climate change is much more of a practical issue than starvation and poverty. We already have solutions for starvation as I said.
