Connect them together for efficiency, and maybe use both rails for stability and to reduce design conplexity. (you dont even need any additional infrastructure!) Also, have them arrive regularly, so that users don't need to bother with an app! Brilliant!

Seriously though, it's really amazing how people keep inventing trains but worse. I guess this idea makes some sense if there aren't enough riders for regular train service, but still...

Arch is great if you want to customize your system, but I wouldn't say it really needs "maintaining" beyond just updating more frequently. (which you don't even really need to do very often, you just have the option to get newer versions of software.)

Genuinely the only time Arch has broken something I can't fix myself (lemmy.world)

Context: A few days ago Arch pushed out a legitimately broken update. This was because they shipped out a testing version of util-linux. They very quickly fixed this... except I use SE Linux (say what you will I wanted to dive into it) and now I'm stuck waiting for the maintainer to update the AUR package so I can fix my system....

Have you tried rolling back the affected packages from the main repo?

There's a huge difference between kids playing with toys or coloring books and watching tiktok on their iPads. Not even remotely the same, and it's concerning that so many perents don't seem to understand that.

Realistically, that would mean nationalizing all of SpaceX. (Which I would support, although that's definitely not going to happen)

No it won't. The beauty of Linux is that it can transform completely to fit your needs.

Making Linux more noob friendly isn't going to take away my custom terminal-centric tiling wm arch install.

More users = more developers = more options. Linux is already awesome, but growing will only bring more good.

I looked it up, and the region of Jupiter's atmosphere at 1 bar is -100C. So you theoretically you could fly a modified Earth plane, it would just be a bit chilly.

Interestingly, though, Venus does have a zone with Earth-like temperature and pressure.
