I use ProtonMail as my primary e-mail client. For some reason, I cannot get to ProtonMail to verify an e-mail that I used to register elsewhere. I keep getting the hourglass on Firefox. So I go a try Chrome and it's the same deal....

It's been a good time here on kbin.social. But the lack of perspective and communication has done it for me. I lost hope that the instance would heal eventually and will move to another place instead. Hope you're ok Ernest and all the best for the future.

Somebody who was previously active on the kbin codeberg repo has left that to make a fork of kbin called mbin....

Look at this fucking mess with these bots and lonely losers with too much time on their hand. They've all taken a dump on multiple instances and magazines....

I'm looking for something that I could run locally and turn loose on a collection of videos to get a quick list of tags for each piece of content....

A lot of us are pretty new to the fediverse and we've arrived just in time to grapple with what is easily the biggest federation/defederation controversy ever to hit it. I've put this thread together to hopefully help communicate some of the more complex ideas that we're trying to get our heads around....

There's a warning at the top, but I'm curious as to the "why". The comments that may or may not be visible seem to be a roll of the dice as well. If I respond to someone in a comment, I have no idea if they can see it.
