TV guide data help

Is there a step by step guide to getting the xmltv from zap2it into jellyfin? This and remote access through the app are all I need to figure out before deleting my Plex account.
Running Linux mint and using hdhomeruns, if that matters, since it wouldn't recognize the internal tuner in my htpc
