Same reason they're so cold and dismissive of immigrants and Palestinians -- if you're poor or marginalized, you're not on their radar, unless they stand to gain profit or political favor. After watching them arm a genocidal regime and open more concentration camps at the border, it's quite clear they're not willing to see us less fortunates as real humans. As a poor gay person with a family of first-gen immigrants, I have zero faith they would protect me when the critical time comes. They'd run me over with a tank, if it were politically convenient.
And the dehumanizination extends so far as to attack anyone with the moral compass and courage to speak out against it. Leftists and progressives are all "bots" to them, because they're unable to fathom that some people experience actual empathy for others.
Maybe we can pool our money and buy ourselves a Democrat. Seems more effective than voting for some ghoul.
