It just all sounds like trying to blame leftists for getting distracted by the knife at their throat. It's kind of a thing you have to take seriously.
It's Mr. Burns questioning why you're fighting the dog he sicced on you. You absolutely should blame Mr. Burns. You should blame the dog, especially when it's supposed to be capable of more than drooling Fox News taking points. It's hard to blame the guy defending himself from both.
