From the article, it looks like the widevine bypass was a single compromised device that this company had and paid a subscription for, which they then used to feed their iptv business. Probably nothing possible to do yourself without a serial cable and some good technology knowhow.
Probably easier to just go through standard piracy routes, if there's content from a streaming service you want to watch. Widevine vulnabilities only let you download the content, not bypass bad subscription services/region-locking.
