2G, 3G, 4G, 5G mobile data made some sense as it represents generational leaps in the technology itself but then Xfinity wants to advertise "10g" internet...

Comcast says it represents a 10 Gigabit cable internet network they are building (it doesn’t exist) so they are basically changing the meaning of the g from generation to gig to act like 10g is 5 generations better (or twice as fast)…or that they have a 10 gigabit network. Neither is accurate. It’s still just cable...

Not gonna lie, isn't that why were here technically? Reddit didnt want its API being used to train AI models for free, so they screw over 3rd party apps with it's new api licensing fee and cause a mass relocation to other social forums like Lemmy, ect. Cut to today, we (or well I) find out Reddit sold our content to Google to train its AI. Glad I scrambled my comments before I left, fuck Reddit.

I created a google takeout and in that zip file I found some files containing a ton of data about me. It has logged every single page I visited while using the google search engine and chrome browser. It even logged every single time I opened an app on my old android phone. Also for a good read on Google and Meta, check out Jedi Blue. It's a plan that FB and Google got sued for, for manipulating ad auction timings in favor of FB on Google in exchange for FB to promise to not open a competing ad service plans. They also gave FB access to every google device with Facebook (preinstalled esp) on it. The name Jedi Blue is a reference to the Jedi mind trick, assholes.
