I think you completely missed the point. The relevant question is not if there are better ways to reduce one's negative impact (because obviously there are) and also not if Ecosia is perfect (because obviously it is not). The relevant question is how much environmental damage using Ecosia does compared to using other search engines and how good the search results are.

Desensitization based on routine is all there is to "handling spice". It is neither an achievement nor an ability. Anyone can get used to it by starting from small amounts and slowly increasing the spice level. Also, there are many spices, chili is only one of them.

Agreed, that is in fact pretty disgusting. I was thinking of a 1:1 ratio at max, with less tobacco than that it should not be called a joint.

I did not refer to the name but to the ratio. It very much depends on the scene imo. It reaches from pure weed in the reggae scene, a 1:1 mix in the hiphop scene, to almost pure tobacco in "weekend weed smoker" scenes and also just depends a lot on the individual who rolled. That is of course only my personal experience.

Agreed, I remember feeling really sorry for the students, who were so proud to be allowed to present their project to the master, just to be murdered by him in front of the class. That behavior is not acceptable, especially not from a teacher/master. I felt embarrassed myself, just from watching the video. On the other hand, Miyazaki is known for very aesthetic, classic, hand made animation, so it is not that surprising he disliked the weird, AI generated demo they showed him. Also, as he said in the video, he has a friend who is physically disadvantaged and the demo reminded him of his suffering friend. Probably he acted in an oversensitive/irrational way because of this.

I respect your opinion and don't think you are arguing in bad faith. However, I think you are missing the central point. Which -in my opinion- is that a social media platform that turns out to have extremely negative effects on society and especially kids, should get shut down. If it happens with intent or without is not particularly relevant as far as I see it. I apologize if my initial comments were phrased in any misleading way, I am not a native speaker so I sometimes miss the finer nuances of certain formulations.

The folded paper is to buffer the inevitable small amounts of liquid that will accumulate at the bottom and sometimes cause a leak, despite putting in as less liquid as possible.

That sounds like a strawman argument tbh. I didn't say anything along those lines. I in fact agree that electric cars are better, just like smaller cars are better too but the basic problem, that they are cars, always remains. What improves cities the most is reducing the number of cars and rededicating streets and parking lots to sidewalks, bike paths, gardens and public parks.
