Honestly, I was one of those people. Eventually, I realized I wasn't happy because the algorithm found that I responded to a specific narrative and would not stop showing it to me no matter how hard I tried to remove it from my feed. I don't like the person I become when I think that way, and the algorithm does not care. I had to just uninstall TikTok to be free of that toxic mindset.

Btw the mindset is incel-flavored misogyny. TikTok nearly re-radicalized me in the worst possible way.

"Informal" means it's not actually a fallacy. Prooooobably because people use it way outside of its definition to dismiss arguments they don't like because they have not thought through whatever they are arguing about.

Yeah, I have already been corrected. I think the reason I assumed it had a smaller team was because the team clearly loved the game and you don't see that often in gaming outside of small-team projects.

    I see where I misunderstood. To reframe, you're saying that claims made by various religions/churches, which are presented as evidence of God, have been disproven, not that God has been disproven.

    The numbers are not arbitrary. They are used to measure how long a person has been alive, which is kind of statistically significant, and yes, largely correlates with maturity. I'm not 26 mature points, I'm 26 years old.

    LMAO I opened the link expecting an article, and I got a steady flow of quotations, but nothing to indicate who is being quoted. At the very end, the sentence "For its part, Bard states..." is used, and I can think of no clearer way to display your fundamental misunderstanding of AI. Bard can't "state" shit in any official capacity. Bard is the same caliber of LLM as GPT, and both have a documented tendency to hallucinate.

    Public service announcement: this article seems to be written like their only source was asking Bard some questions. If you trust Bard enough to tell you Google's plans, you may as well be asking it when the second coming is happening, because it'll be just as confident when it hallucinates that answer too.

    FYI the only source listed anywhere in the article is Bard itself. This journalist seems to just interview an LLM and take the outputs as fact.
