What is your experience with loxone? What is it worth to integrate with it?

We are moving to a new house, and I want to build a foundation in something more reliable as homeassistant and zigbee. I looked at KNX and it is ridiculously expensive (170 euros for a pir sensor is a joke). So as an alternative I'm looking at loxone, which seems to be a cheaper alternative to KNX. This is great feedback, thank you very much. So far I only talked to a loxone comercial, and another installer that works both with knx and loxone, and that person has recommended loxone. Do you know if loxone gives incentives to their installers ?

VS Code in Home Assistant: any use for this outside of editing yaml files?

I don't see that there's any sort of integration for writing code to process information from HA entities like Node Red + Companion. Am I missing something and this is more than just an interface for the config files and maybe a git client for those config files?

Vscode extension is aware of home assistant entities, so you get (or should) auto completion of existing entities and services, which you will not get on vim over ssh
