I remember being confused as to why everyone loved Chrome suddenly

Because they were still using Explorer before that

I'm really annoyed by how much Brave Search is pushing AI

I've been using Brave Search supplemented by Startpage for the past 2+ years. When I search for something, I want to get results for credible webpages, not a summary of unknown quality. I liked the previous AI inclusion because it was instant, didn't take up much space, and I could quickly navigate to the websites referenced in...

All my Brave Bucks just magically disappeared. Screw 'em

I have no stance because I don't know what you are talking about.

If it's anything like the drawstring bags I have tried, it's flimsy and mostly for show - it barely even tightens the bag when you're ready to tie it up and throw it out.

I like how it just jumps into facts about why it's good for seniors. As if to say "you made it this far, you must be a senior we can scam"

What was the nature of your right click?

Walmart seems to ONLY have a “technical issue” when it comes to requesting a refund. All other areas of the website work perfectly fine! (lemmy.ca)

Any time saved by ordering online and picking up the order has vanished chasing customer support people to fix something that would have taken a few seconds through their website.

I tried ordering online and picking up at the store twice. Both times there were complications and I ended up having to call customer support, and waiting in the parking lot for nearly an hour. Walmart does not give a shit and they know they're too big to fail.

It's not the first company to "offer self serve" where the action involves taking away revenue and just so happens to never ever work, requiring a call to their support. It's almost as if they know some people will just give up and they can keep the profits.

Weird, it happened to me too. Maybe an assumption based on the photo.

I feel you. This is one of the main reasons I quit doing freelance web design, hate WP with a passion and everyone was using it.

It's kind of the perfect storm - supposedly simple enough for the average person to use (they can't), and restrictive enough for the dev that it's like being forced to type with oven mitts on. At least in my experience.

But then I see what their voting habits are doing to this country and to our governing bodies, and that gets buried under piles of anger.

Unfortunately it's a problem outside of Estonia, too

And even while working less, you are still working more than said boss
