On the next EULA click no or don't agree and try using the service

Sometimes I need to refresh the page for the video to play but otherwise no issues, ff+ubo ftw

MAC addresses are assigned to the hardware and do not change with each boot (first 3 pairs are company second 3 pairs are the device), unless you spoof the address then you can make it display any MAC address you wish but the MAC of the device never changes.

Corporations: Under pay employees for decades

Consumers: only buy the cheapest regardless of how it’s produced, ensuring a race to the bottom

Producers: lower standards to increase production so they can sell meat for the lowest cost

Consumers when they find out what that entails: shocked pikachu face

Here is a PDF of the book you need for this course, you may not share it and the file will self destruct the day after finals. Thanks for the $150

lost_faith ,

Version 3 is ToTaLlY different from v2, i switched all the chapters around

lost_faith ,

At least you OWN the text book and can reference it years later. That PDF scam was a real piss off

Mine doesn't meet 1 req for win 11, I refuse to go into the bios and turn it on

lost_faith ,

I love the Gnome DE, used it years ago. You are correct, KDE (+Wayland) is better for the gaming side and more like a windows interface, it also got further into my VR setup than Gnome (X11 or Wayland) would let me, switched to Kubuntu from Ubuntu. One day I will get back to the setup (before W10 EoL) but I have forgotten so much in the last 10 years :(

‘My whole library is wiped out’: what it means to own movies and TV in the age of streaming services (www.theguardian.com)

*What rights do you have to the digital movies, TV shows and music you buy online? That question was on the minds of Telstra TV Box Office customers this month after the company announced it would shut down the service in June. Customers were told that unless they moved over to another service, Fetch, they would no longer be...

I think I'll try using OBS to capture a video tonight, granted its quality will be tied to the output but it requires no additional hardware. Then edit in DaVinci to get rid of the obvious mistakes i'll make. I only have a 4070 ti super tho

lost_faith ,

Oh, the memories... but we were paying a slight copyright fee on every blank disk and tape purchased in those days, regardless of use.

lost_faith ,

That is why most of us dropped cable, $80+ for 10 mins of ads in a "30" min show

I've been screaming this into the void for years and always get shot down. It's almost like people like to be abused. I saw how bozo destroyed business after business in the early years and have been avoiding it fairly well, I will go without my special not necessary "toy" until I find it local, which is getting harder and harder sadly as the convenience is killing local business

lost_faith ,

The usual reason given is convenience "I can get it all in 1 place, instead of driving/bussing around town looking for the local option". I am looking for a usb mic with a short wire to attach to my vr headset so I can stop killing peoples ears with hard P and similar. My local computer store doesn't carry any mics like I need only the desktop professional ones, nor any nearby local stores either. My only real option is to either go to Best Buy or Bozo. sigh

You can still crave attention from people you would never interact with in person

Not enuf money in being good, being evil pays

lost_faith ,

What kind of foolish optimist are you? Search engines are to make profit, not help you find that obscure answer to your urgent question

lost_faith ,

Sometimes I have to reload the page when using these 2. the page will load but just have a youtube icon in the centre of the player or the spinny circle until i hit f5

Sooner or later, ad blockers should just simulate the ad being played (in the background) with the real content going in the foreground to act as if the ad was watched.

I wish adblockers did this, open the ad in a little silenced sandbox window. I don't see the ad, creator gets their pay

lost_faith ,

Exactly, I don't overly mind the "paid advertisements" the creators do, the guys I watch that do this are extremely funny in how they do it so if I don't manually skip I get a good laugh, like the "Adstronaut"

lost_faith ,

Hmm, I only use chrome for my YT chan control, not watching. Watching ANYTHING is done on FF+UBO, but if adnaseum is on FF I may switch. Poor google has YET to show an ad I would be interested in, hell the tv in the 80s showed me more of interest than ads today. Thanks for the suggestion, will check it out!

lost_faith ,

I know what I am checking out tonight

lost_faith ,

I do the same, but use the real year. I was born a little before your number

lost_faith ,

Ahh Apple, the first to introduce what Android users have simply taken for granted

lost_faith ,

This is the ONLY reason I got a pixel, alternate os support. The data they get from me is not worth much in the end as I already know what I will buy from reading on reviews etc. ads, even when I watched TV, don't really work on me and the ones that do catch my eye usually make a sale for another co than the one advertising. Being ND has its benefits

lost_faith ,

I am looking to move to linux, again, due to ALL the amazing work Steam is putting into gaming on linux. Much of my flat game library works on the test laptop, my streaming software has linux native install. The 1 issue holding me back at this point is my OG Vive screens not turning on, tho the laptop monitor shows my VR environment. Once I get over that hurdle my days of windows will be almost over.

lost_faith ,

Ya got me on the atheist and firefox thing
