Which platform? Desktop or mobile ?
For android, there's "jtx board" which works for me pretty well.

You're welcome! Glad I helped 😊

What's a good NAS and server system under CAD$900 (USD$658)?

I am currently using an old laptop (circa 2015) with a 250GB SSD in it, and 4GB of RAM. It runs Fedora 39 Server, and only hosts a Jellyfin instance through Docker right now (though I want to use Nextcloud later too). There is only 15GB of storage left on it, and the CPU is constantly overloaded (due to forced transcoding). I...

Linux Note-taking app that supports CalDAV

Hi, does anybody know any notetaking app which supports sync with caldav server ? I am self-hosting a Radicale server which on android with DAVx5 client and jtx Board app works pretty well! I have searched on web but haven't found any desktop alternative to jtxBoard yet which supports this protocol. Anybody using this setup ?

Linux

psy32nd OP ,

Yes. I use thunderbird for all the other caldav features. So being able to use the app for notes will be the best thing.

psy32nd OP ,

Umm. Definitely it's in my to-do list. But for now I just wish Joplin had some caldav features in it :(

psy32nd OP ,

Thank you. Will check.

But it's not what I want.
KOrganizer's is a full fledged journal with a date, whereas I need a simple note taking app without a date.

Its okay man

Hmm Logseq ui is good.

Cloudflare Alternative

What do you guys use to expose private IP addresses to the web? I was using the npm proxy manager with Cloudflare CDN. However, it stopped working after I changed my router (I keep getting error 521). Looking for an alternative to Cloudflare cdn so I can access my media server/self-hosted services away from LAN....

Create an aws account (new if already have) to use it's 12 months free tier, setup OpenVPN Access Server (tbh easy process), go to admin panel and enable dmz. Connect to the server from your local machine with an openvpn client. It can be used to open as many ports as you want.

Just follow this tutorial and you will have Radicale setup via docker. Radicale is lightweight and really does help me to get away with all the caldav/cardav necessities.
