Hi! I'm just looking for a SIP provider so I can hook my phone to. Ideally with servers located in SE Asia for lower latency. Telnyx seems to have servers in Singapore, which seems convenient. Is it possible to prepay credit for SIP calls for a single account, then hook your phone with Linphone/Zoiper or similar and just use it...

What can you get to within a 15-minute walk of your house?

A recent YouGov survey asked Americans what they think they should be able to get to within a 15-minute walk of their house.

Of these choices, I can currently walk to all of them from my apartment, aside from a university (no biggie, I'm not currently studying, although there is a Tafe within walking distance), a hospital, and a sports arena.

How many can you get to with a 15 minute walk from your house?

Usually gas stations have a convenience store that is easier to get in and out of compared grocery store and sometimes have good food as well. especially in the Midwest gas stations have really good food and are the best fast food joints in town. Also buccees

Devs understand http and json way better than imap and http can support modern security protocols like oidc which standards imap doesn't support which can make using foss email in a corporate environment

Because AI and Crypto use so much electricity, what if a law was made that they had to power it with green energy?

Something on the lines of if your company facility is using over X amount of energy the majority of that has to be from a green source such as solar power. What would happen and is this feasible or am I totally thinking about this wrong...

Only proof of work crypto currencies require a ton of energy and the only way it's profitable is by buying energy that would otherwise be wasted like methane flaring or excess renewable generation.

    I have been loving miniflux. It has been pretty set and forget. They have nice android apps and you can pay them to host it for you
