I think we need community forks. anyone who is willing to host it can copy the entire instance and all of the content and become the new mod.
but it would make more sense if lemmy was based on some decentralized data layer (like IPFS). Then you only need to copy the references, that makes it way cheaper to fork.
Creating new accounts after being banned is usually against the rules. Why were you banned in the first place? Maybe take it up with the admins, we can't do anything here.
Obviously not, but considering you're having difficulty understanding basic rules that exist on every form of social media, there was probably a good reason for the first one.
Lemmy is the easiest to get away with it, but you keep making similar versions of the same username and immediately talking about how you're evading bans.
Like, it's hard to believe you're really not able to understand this, which would leave trolling as the only explanation for your behavior
The first account was banned in retrospect after the first 3 seemingly didn't care about community rules. Retrolemmy will not be the instance to house people who don't adhere to the community rules. If you decide to turn a new leaf I am prepared to unban your first account.
Ban evasion for one. Creating 6 accounts is not the way. If a post doesn't go the way you hope just move on. It's not the end of the world, nor is it a reason to create half a dozen other accounts just to repost it again and/or complain about your ban.
If you do not like this, find an instance more accepting of your behavior. But Retrolemmy is not the place for you.
