I've had a laptop that I've never been able to get WoL (Wireless or otherwise) to work, no matter what I tried. Recently realized that the Bluetooth keyboard I used was able to wake it with a key press though....

The other day my WiFi network went down and with it, I lost access to my Zigbee network?* Is this normal or is this a sign of a massive issue?...

What is the best, money is no factor solution for monitoring home energy. The goal is no cloud. I was using a zwave solution however it keeps falling off the network and now I cant get it back on. Looking to upgrade....

I’m having hard time finding names for the different lights that make sense when I ask my voice assistant to control. I end up with ceiling light, but I have more than one ceiling light, and saying Living room ceiling light is a mouthful. I tried giving funny names but I keep getting confused which is which. I'm looking for a smart home solution use two switches in my living room (EU), in order to make them just smart enough so I can control some devices. The setup isn't very complex in itself, and I'm pretty sure it's doable - I'm just unsure what I'd need in order to use these switches in a 'smart' capacity......

This is due to an incompatibility with Python 3.12....

I was messing around with my Docker and just pulled a 400MB Home Assistant update. Which is strange as I just updated it a couple days ago. Anyone know what's in the update? Updating my HA container didn't break anything.

I just installed the Kia Uvo integration via HACS but am concerned with settings causing 12v battery drain on the car. Anyone else have this set up and willing to share their experience with it?
