Black616Angel ,

The incognito mode start page literally tells you this. I do not know, how this is news.

Black616Angel ,

I think he is talking about the /s distro made by sarcasm inc.

Black616Angel ,

Same here, I was getting frustrated thinking, I had to root my phone or smth. and then a simple force close helped.

Black616Angel ,

Sometimes you just don't know if it's band merch or just a cool thing.

An ex used to wear an "are you dead yet" sticker on her boot. She didn't even know the band children of bodom and thought it was just cool.

Black616Angel ,

But this is not the super tic tac toe I know (and also implemented 10 years ago in college).
Here you play until all ttts are solved. The version I know, has a winner only if in the bigger grid there are three wins in a tic tac toe fashion.

Black616Angel ,

Lol, same.

Black616Angel ,

You can do that already.

Although I mainly use InvokeAI

Black616Angel ,

... Thanks. This looks super useful.

Edit:
After posting I realized.that this sounds super sarcastic, which it wasn't. This does look useful and I was already looking for smth. like that.

Black616Angel ,

Reminds me of that grandpa playing chess with one hand to give himself a handicap.

Black616Angel ,

British women and British cuisine... The birth of a seafarer nation.

Black616Angel ,

Doesn't look like it, but you can be the one writing one.

Black616Angel ,

I have cut my lips twice on these fuckers. Also just this week while pouring milk, the cap somehow slipped right under the stream and spilled the milk everywhere.

Who loses their bottlecap?

Also this makes it harder for kids to drink from bottles, since they can't put their whole mouth around.

I hate these shit stains with a passion.

I am 99% sure, thia was all just a PR stunt by some bottle company. If they really wanted to do something for the environment, they would go for glass bottles again, since they can be recycled forever.

Black616Angel ,

Yes and if you bend them out of the way, some become sharp and I poured a carton of milk. So no, I to not like them.

To each their own except I have no (real) choice.

Black616Angel ,

Well chrome should, yes. But they don't.
Then some JavaScript framework developers think "well this non-standard feature is neat, let's use that everywhere" and then companies who use their framework (or a framwork dependent on it) can't support all browsers.

It's a multilayered problem (as always) with lots of individually decisions that make sense, but don't work out in the end (as always).

Black616Angel ,

Yes, but a lot of them have multiple DEs (Ubuntu/Lubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu...) and sometimes the DE is specific to the distros (Mint).

Black616Angel ,

TIL

Black616Angel ,

This is a kids baking show. They could discuss thousand topics before coming near someone's "stand on a constitutional monarchy".

I mean wtf, ask her about her favorite non-bake food or something!

Black616Angel ,

As a software developer who only has business customers, let me tell you the following:
No matter how foolproof your system might seem. It never truly is. There is always some idiot (sometimes with a degree) who just can't understand/use it.

But they could still try and mostly succeed. They just don't want to.

Black616Angel ,

Akschually he was trying to assemble himself and was failing. So you could say that those are mistakes he made, because he was just learning.

But then again it's just a comic by someone who probably didn't do a full course on biology of the human circulatory system for one panel.

Black616Angel ,

Oh yeah, I never had to do this on windows!

Wait! That's not correct.

Black616Angel ,

I know what you mean and Linux can be the operating system with less issues as well. E.g. I never had printer issues with my system but have to troubleshoot others' printers regularly.

If you only use Linux for browsing and light office work you probably never encounter problems.
Even if you play games via steam and Proton there probably will never be something.

The same is true for Windows. If you only use it for a small subset of tasks (browsing, light office work or playing recent games) you will rarely encounter problems.

But if you try to do so without a Microsoft account or if you don't want a bloated start menu, it starts to get tricky.

And don't get me started on playing old games or getting some programming dependencies running. This can be hell.

I know the flaws of windows (I've used it up until last year and still have to use it at work) and I also know the limitations of Linux. They are both not perfect, but Linux is free and Windows becomes more and more shit (as you've said). And this is where I don't understand all the people saying, that windows is easier. It really isn't anymore. It was a few years ago though.
