No, we don't get letters in the mail about elections. The options are news, radio, or look it up yourself outside of social media. With streaming so popular, people don't see near as many ads as they used to on their TV. That leaves social media as the biggest informer of upcoming elections and to hear about issues.

The straight flag has been around for quite a while. It's black and white horizontal stripes. The ally flag is the straight flag with a rainbow "A" on it.

These guys in the picutre didn't bother doing any research evidently and started flying the wrong flag.

They have had a list of websites that will file at least federal taxes for free. Some have free state returns as well, however, your Adjusted Gross Income must be less than $79,000.

I've also used Tax Hawk for a few years and it's been free.

I wasn't aware that their site was promoting Intuit software.

If you watch the video, one of the union members is at the Council meeting speaking to the City Council and another union member walks up to him to inform him that they were laid off with immediate effect. The workers both seemed genuinely surprised that they were laid off.

What can you get to within a 15-minute walk of your house?

A recent YouGov survey asked Americans what they think they should be able to get to within a 15-minute walk of their house.

Of these choices, I can currently walk to all of them from my apartment, aside from a university (no biggie, I'm not currently studying, although there is a Tafe within walking distance), a hospital, and a sports arena.

How many can you get to with a 15 minute walk from your house?

I was thinking about that and wonder if they are concerned about additional food waste cause by having so many more grocery stores. Off the top of my head, I'm not coming up with another reason.

It links to a file with that name. There have been times where I download a pdf and click the name only for my phone to open a different pdf than the one I was supposed to be downloading. Turns out they both had the same name.

In many states no, they are called "at-will states", where the employee can leave or the company fire you for no reason at all. It's phrased that way to make it seem better than the evil unions making you stop working to strike to fight for your rights.

Edit: don't forget that not everyone lives on arable land. We also have apartments and skyscrapers that house people, thus packing in many more people per mile than individual.

Saying grace is a prayer that the food would be nourishing and asking God to bless it so that it won't make you sick. The practice originated back in a time when food poisoning was much more common.

So since they didn't bless the food somehow the devil gets it.
