GlitterInfection , to Memes in Apple

Not if you care about privacy and security, the environment (comparatively), user experience, industrial design, and any number of things that are important to tons of customers.

No company is perfect, nor are they beyond criticism. But the lemmy Apple-bad hive-mind is a bunch of people who can't see past their Linux memes.

GlitterInfection , to Memes in Apple

Objectively speaking, Apple is a less evil company than Google.

GlitterInfection , to Memes in Apple

Is it Apple-bad time again?

Oh, right, I forgot, it's ALWAYS Apple-bad time on lemmy.

GlitterInfection , to Technology in Fridge failures: LG says angry owners can't sue, company points to cardboard box

I hate LG more than any other company after dealing with their worst in class customer service when I bought a defective TV a couple years back.

It took 6 months of actively calling them and then creating a Twitter account and tweeting at their PR team and emailing the CEO to get my money back on the piece of junk.

Multiple hour+ long calls. Each time where I had to tell them everything from the previous calls that was supposed to be entered in their system, and was, but the call person literally didn't look at the screen in front of them. An hour long wait on hold to the claims department where someone picked up and then audibly hung up.

It was infuriating. But I had a $2,000 piece of junk in my house so I wasn't going to let it drop.

Hawt.

Was this artist involved in Tuca and Bertie's art?

GlitterInfection , to Memes in How much for being a tv and movies junkie ?

That's great news because I'm a master bater!

GlitterInfection , to Technology in Microsoft wants to update your Windows 11 PC without forcing you to reboot

Security analysts? Those guys are dirty.

GlitterInfection , to Technology in Microsoft wants to update your Windows 11 PC without forcing you to reboot

I raw-dog the internet.

GlitterInfection , to 196 in free ruleware

Yup. It went from "this is a horribly thought out way to move in a 3D scene and I can't rebind the key bindings" to something pretty industry relevant in a short period of time.

GlitterInfection , to 196 in free ruleware

My experience with open source software is that it doesn't work anywhere near as well as the proprietary options when I need it and then 10 years later the community has rewritten it to become far superior and I always mean to go back and try it but no longer need it.

Blender I'm looking at you.

GlitterInfection , to Memes in It's missing some railings though

Playing Tony Hawk drastically changed the way I looked at the world.

It made me look around and up for things that I did not have the skill to grind on in real life and suddenly I was noticing details of buildings and art and so on.

GlitterInfection , to Memes in the first sign of trouble is feeling rested

My natural wake up is like 11:30. I wish I could set the alarm after that!

GlitterInfection , to Memes in Everytime

Well then... CLASS WAR!!!!!

GlitterInfection , to Memes in The "Trans Debate" in 17 Seconds

That was all implied.

GlitterInfection , to Memes in The "Trans Debate" in 17 Seconds

No no, this is an ad hominem: you're an idiot.

I was pointing out that your statement was a strawman. But really it's just a false statement. A lie, if you will.

There has never been any discussion about children consenting with respect to trans rights. The parents and/or medical professionals are ALWAYS involved in the decision.

But as I said, you're an idiot.
