Another successful OpenBSD setup

I've been buying these little boxes from AliExpress for years to use as firewalls and routers. My oldest one is almost 9 years old now! OpenBSD installs just fine. Just a BIOS tweak to always boot up after power is restored.

How would one go building a router? I was planning on getting wired networks for a NAS build but most providers seem to ship their own router which probably is a nightmare for privacy, can I just pay for internet and use whatever router I want?

What's up with fingerprint thing? The only place I had to use it was to make my ID which is kinda understandable.

I meant that window users will see Linux commands since Linux has been around for much much much longer and window users will get confused. Which is good, we need people to start hating Windows so they'll consider Linux

The drawing is fine but the circuit area is garbage. Random errors in arduino, slow emulation, bugs that delete everything you've worked on, I'd just rather use sticks and bash them to one another till thsy light up.
Also Freecad is good but takes a bit to get used to it.

Music Piracy Is Back, Baby (gizmodo.com)

"Muso, a research firm that studies piracy, concluded that the high prices of streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music are pushing people back towards illegal downloads. Spotify raised its prices by one dollar last year to $10.99 a month, the same price as Apple Music. Instead of coughing up $132 a year, more consumers...

I do want to not use my Sim for internet but I dont know what to use. I know there are small devices you can pop Sim into but couldn't find any decent. I think it would also stop drawing your battery, does anyone got any tips for a good manufacturer?

Not if you don't use sim, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, hotspot, microphone and stand perfectly still in a bunker 4 kilometers under ground

Why not use a fake email. I personally use duckduckgo an it gets redirected to my mail after they run some checks on the mail. I don't really care since I only use it for spam

Yeah I see what you mean. That is fucked up. I'm gonna run off tracks but I so recommend Proton mail, you can make Google accounts forward it to Proton and what's nice is that proton dosent load attachments unless you want to, there'll be a empty place but only words will get displayed. Not helping in any way but I do wanna give them a shootout
