Kimusan ,

What do you mean? This service from google is for android devices and hence google devices.

Kimusan ,

You might think that this is different with apple - it is not.

Kimusan ,

Slack is crap and matter most has mimicked all its worst parts.

Kimusan OP ,

Would you think i3 is enough? I am not too familiar with the newer generations

Kimusan OP ,

I need it to be completely without fans due to the location where I need it.

Kimusan OP ,

I need it for normal desktop use. Email, coding, browsing (no gaming)

Note-taking app that looks too good to be true? - Siyuan

Recently stumbled upon this note-taking app called SiYuan, but it honestly looks a bit too good to be true(?). Has anyone here used it or got any experience with it? Trying to replace Obsidian is a difficult task, and I've been through almost all note-taking apps there are out there, however this one looks fairly similar....

Kimusan ,

What a joke - calling itself privacy first with one hand while offering openAI integration with the other

Kimusan ,

Even having it there tells le that privacy is not a primary focus.

Linux Note-taking app that supports CalDAV

Hi, does anybody know any notetaking app which supports sync with caldav server ? I am self-hosting a Radicale server which on android with DAVx5 client and jtx Board app works pretty well! I have searched on web but haven't found any desktop alternative to jtxBoard yet which supports this protocol. Anybody using this setup ?

Kimusan ,

+1 for Joplin. Works really great and has some good plugins if you need to extend it.

How to drop files from Android to home server?

I'm looking for an easy way to upload files from my Android smartphone to my home server. is there a - ideally dockerized - solution for that? Some simple web GUI where I can click on "Upload" and the files will be saved to a certain directory on my home server?...
