OsrsNeedsF2P , to Memes in Nuclear isn't perfect, but it is the best we have right now.

What's wrong with nuclear waste? Is it radioactive or something? Like the original uranium we got out of the ground?

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Memes in Nuclear isn't perfect, but it is the best we have right now.

And don't produce enough energy?

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Technology in China is attempting to mirror the entire GitHub over to their own servers, users report

Apart from the dozens of scrape bots that already stole them?

You're supposed to revoke API keys that are leaked. Not try to "unleak" them

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Technology in China is attempting to mirror the entire GitHub over to their own servers, users report

Lmao the murican propaganda worked wonders on this guy

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Technology in South Korean telecom company attacks torrent users with malware

Well, there's only 3, and they're all friends, sooo

On the plus side, the employees got charged

OsrsNeedsF2P , (edited ) to Mildly Infuriating in I ordered my daughter a pizza, something I don't usually do. I got Domino's smallest size with two toppings. I got her cheese sticks and two sauces and tipped the driver 20%. $31.07.

She's extremely picky and refused to let me order anything but pizza.

Lol, with attitude like that she'll be a delightful adult

Edit: I'll accept these downvotes. So far all the replies have been "well I let my kid do whatever they want, whatcouldgowrong.jpg"

OsrsNeedsF2P , to linuxmemes in This was a surprisingly high effort shitpost

What am I looking at (besides a generic neofetch on hardware that can't load Google.com)

OsrsNeedsF2P , to 196 in Little League Rule

I mean... Sounds like the parent is doing the right thing (being interested in their kid's sport) but for the wrong reason?

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Privacy in Hacker Accesses Internal ‘Tile’ Tool That Provides Location Data to Cops

Clearly, someone was not thinking of the children

We do, but people don't come over. It's a service issue; if the goal is maximize contributors, you need to minimize friction. A mirror minimizes friction, but it's still a significant step over "just being on Github":

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Technology in Used VPN for cheaper YouTube Premium? Congrats, your subscription has been canceled

no company would accept that.

Except for a company that understands going after these people won't benefit them?

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Technology in Used VPN for cheaper YouTube Premium? Congrats, your subscription has been canceled

Blows my mind that to this day, companies don't realize it's a service issue. Like it's straight up regressed. Adobe and Microsoft used to encourage piracy to help their bottom line. Now you have stupid PMs who realize they can get a good performance review by talking about how much money they'll make/save from doing stuff like this

OsrsNeedsF2P , to 196 in Rule

No. For all the memes and fake nonsense, LLMs still give access to a swath of knowledge at a degree easier to access. The current kids using LLMs for questions are probably going to be quite a bit smarter than us

OsrsNeedsF2P , to Fuck Cars in Newly obtained video shows driver after deadly Goodyear cycling crash

Regarding the charges,

“[The evidence] just wasn't there. It's heartbreaking and it's unsatisfactory but it is where we are at right now,” she said to ABC15 in November after she told victims she wouldn’t file felony charges. “It's a collision where we cannot show with the evidence that there was a conscious disregard of a risk that this individual made.”

Why is it that someone can run into over a dozen cyclists, killing some, but also not have made a "conscious disregard of risk"? If it's true that the driver was not consciously disregarding risk, but we still got this outcome, it's absolutely true that the process for obtaining a permit for his vehicle and/or speeds is way too lenient.

We also have forum.2009scape.org, which is open source. Any questions people have are only answered here, for the explicit purpose of better searchability of answers.

(But people hate registering on new sites)

Trust me, I know what you're saying. We did our best, but ended up deciding to focus on the project, rather than a larger movement as a whole
