Imo, computing, like all other things, requires a little trust and risk. The problem is most people are Wayyy to trusting in general.

I actually think universal basic income is a very flawed idea from a leftist perspective.

It is effectively a capitalist compromise that still puts all of the asset holders in immense positions of power. The only difference now is they effectively are governmentally enforced as those positions of power. It will make the wealth disparity exponentially worse.

The answer to our wealth disparity is to put power in the hands of the average person.

I never said we dont need reforms. In fact the issue I have is Capitalism as a whole.

All UBI would do is give those who own the means of automation 100% power. What leverage would we have if not our labor?

Honestly we are hitting the bugetary limits of what game graphics can do, for example.

A lot of new games look substantially worse than the Last of Us Part 2, which ran on ancient hardware.

No, if you have no philosophical or usability issues with Windows and there's no reason to swap to Linux. A lot of us do, however.

It links the pages it used as a source.

Yeah, that wasn't seen to me. I was imagining that whenever the report was done, that the third party would have some sort of press event about it.

We aren't even getting the report. We're getting a summary of the report from the person that had to pay to get it done.

Nobody is asking to do no work. They're just tired of doing work at the behest of the capitalist class. The problem is that work is both an adjective and a noun. Nobody likes the noun.

Heck, I don't even care about having an audio jack as long as there are two USB-C ports. I'm a down for a unified connector. There just needs to be enough ports for it.
