I'm no Apple fan but I'm scratching my head at this comment. Would any other brand of laptop be "less capitalist" somehow ? Just because they are less overpriced than macs ?

"Twink" is also an old MMORPG term that designates characters specially optimized to play in the lower pvp brackets with the biggest advantage possible.

For example, back in my days, in wow, a lot of people would play level 19 characters (Levels brackets for pvp were 10-19, 20-29 etc) with the best pvp gear for this level and enchants that no one in their right mind would pay for on a character that was not meant to stay stuck at this level forever.

A non-geared level 19 hunter in a battleground was already scary if you were around level 10, but these mfs could basically only be defeated by other twinks.

Also net weight vs gross weight. I think there's a law that regulates this where I live (France) because it's always specified but I don't see it here.

I assume OP is from Canada because I see English and French on the packaging. I lived there for a few years and was losing my mind over this kind of stuff the entire time.
Prices never include taxes even though you basically always have to pay them, price per pound/gallon/unit is never displayed either and they really try to swindle you with this, I constantly saw "family sized" or whatever packages that actually cost more per pound than the regular version when I did the math. So I'm not surprised.

I'm working on a theory: most commenters are probably American. Their sweets have so much sugar content over here that I'm starting to believe they don't like Turkish delights because they are somehow less sugary ?

Most newer models that automatically make themselves available to all the devices connected to the network they are connected to, and manage the printer queue internally. Usually comes with a ton of shitty "features" e.g preventing you from printing black & white when you're out of yellow ink.
2-in-one scanner+printer machines are especially heinous with this, most of the ones I've used block you from scanning a document if you're out of any ink (yes, even when you're only trying to scan and not use the "copy" mode)

Somehow they found a way to make me miss having to boot the "printer PC" and wrangling windows' god awful printer queue system.
