And they also have to let people use a VPN. And make UI load faster, it's way too bloated.

chevy9294 OP ,

I'll clean all USB sticks the house, just to be sure.

chevy9294 OP ,

Yes it does but I haven't checked whichones do end whichones don't. But half of them do, thats important.

chevy9294 OP ,

Thank you for the link, it will help for sure!

I (not me but my family) always used just default Windows Defender but I heard good things about Malware bytes and BitDefender, I'll checked them out.

chevy9294 OP ,

Oh it's paid... I would rather install Linux, I don't pay even for Windows.

chevy9294 OP ,

Actualy the malware somehow deleted windows defender and disabled automatic updates. I install MalwareBytes and run full scan and removed it.

Spreading out the internet across infrastructure nodes that can be cooled by fans in smaller data centers or even home server labs is much more efficient than monstrous, monolithic datacenters that are stealing all our H2O.

That's definitely not true, data centers are way more efficient than home servers. But yes, they use water to be more efficient.

Liar! You are not runnning KDE! On one app it says "KDE Control Center" instead of "KDE Kontrol Kenter".

I have 11 years old phone that still gets updates. For free. And all my computers will have updates for ever. For free.

Galaxy S4, (was) officially supported by LineageOS :)

chevy9294 ,

My daily is Pixel 7a with GrapheneOS. Galaxy S4 is my mom's old old old phone. I have no idea how. On lineageos wiki it says that this device is not maintained anymore, but a month ago I got a system update. It's on Linegae 18.

I had 2 (actully much more) options when buying my laptop. Good laptop with windows or a liitle better laptop without windows for 200€ less.

It's sad when you figure out why most people are broke.

Voyager is way more popular, but I don't like it's iOS-like UI, so I went with Thunder

Wiki for android packages

Another post made me wonder if there is some kind of wiki or website for android packages with descriptions that can/should be removed via adb. Back when I had a bloated phone, about 3 years back, I remember how much of a pain in the ass this was and had to go through XDA developers and reddit posts just to get the info on which...

chevy9294 ,

I've used it a few times and it's great!

I wanted to check out if that is true... and it is. Then I clicked on Simple Calendar > Trackers...

Best browsers for 3D stuff like games and CADs are chromium based.

I generally use Librewolf (Firefox fork) but for gaming and 3d modeling use Brave. I think it's tge best chromium based browser.

chevy9294 ,

Interesting, I thought Chromite was just for Android

From worst to best places to store your crypto:

  1. Online KYC exchange
  2. Online non KYC exchange
  3. Offline on your computer/phone
  4. Offline on a USB key/SD card
  5. Offline on a cold storage like Ledger or Trezor
chevy9294 ,

I use MEXC and CoinEx. They have KYC, but it's optional.

chevy9294 ,

72%. And I use the top software recommendation for 5 out of 7 services, one was a little more down and I don't use the last one.

I'm sure it will be and I'm also sure Apple will do EVERYTHING to make it almost imposible to do that. They may also block users from using their iPhones if they discover that they are set to EU, but they are actually not in EU.

chevy9294 ,

That is just in EU right? So Switzerland (in the center of Europe) won't have that? Interesting...

Use different profiles. They seperate apps, data, settings, etc. I use these profiles:

  • personal (for photos, communication, etc.)
  • internet (lemmy, mastodon, vpn, torrent, new pipe, etc.)
  • google (play store, drive, maps, translate, etc.)
  • finance (bank, paypal, localmonero, crypto wallets, etc.)
  • school (teams, canva, web shortcuts, etc.)

I think in vanilla android you can have 3 user profiles and 1 guest. I use grapheneos which supports 15 users and 1 guest.
