I really like the penis inspection day joke, because it constructs a narrative of systemic rape culture that would have easily been normalised if it were real, and draws attention to the normalisation. It gets people thinking about rape culture without even noticing that they're thinking. And thereby vaccinates people against normalisation of systemic rape. I believe the shitposters who laughed at penis inspection day memes are more likely to understand the absurdity of actual anti-trans legislation.

Haven't seen Supernatural but Traegert says the character is ace and that makes me feel the need to weigh in. It's not queerbaiting if the character they don't make gay after all is canonically ace. Putting them in a gay relationship would be ace erasure, and would be acebaiting. Sure, maybe it's gaybaiting, but revealing a gay-coded character is actually ace doesn't in any way diminish the amount of queer in the show.

On Hexbear, transphobic content can only be removed by mods and admins. If a regular user sees a dogwhistle, they can't just downvote, they have to reply and explain it, and if the mods don't agree, there will be nothing done about it. This is one of many reasons why Hexbear has so much transphobia.

Everyone on dbzer0 has the power to downvote content they don't think should be on the site, which means even if a mod does a false negative, the masses may still put the content at the bottom of the feed and express that it's unacceptable.

Hexbear is super transphobic. Half the people there think dronegender is a fake gender and call dronegender people trolls who are making fun of trans people, because they don't have the open mindedness necessary to accept a new identity with curiosity instead of hatred. I even got banned for saying gender neutral pronouns exist, because the admins are offended by the idea "they" is a pronoun which does not assign a gender to the referent.

Nonbinary isn't a gender. It's an umbrella term encompassing thousands of genders. Your insistence that nonbinary people are only one gender is exactly why I say Hexbear is full of transphobes who think of themselves as allies, but whose minds are far too closed.

Nonbinary is not one gender and they/them does not refer to one gender.
