If you don't understand timed drys vs auto drys, which half the settings are, sure, you have problems. Most of the LG settings(I have one of their "smart" dryers and washers) are all auto timed. Placing small loads often won't trip the sensor because there's little moist material to activate it. Running large loads with the filter clogged will end up having it detect more of the dry lint than the wet center of your blanket. Empty the filter and restart it and you'll be amazed to see it'll auto run for another 30 minutes and your clothes come out fine. Or switch to the actually timed dries and it will run the whole time NO MATTER WHAT.

If it's shutting off that fast, it's user error.

And it's ALWAYS the same problem. You can have all the lists you want. A central authority has to recognize and enforce that list. At which point, the structure of your list is completely irrelevant. It could be ANY list. What matters is that it's chosen to be enforced. And currently, most power structures are happy with plain old databases. Or pen and paper.

Nope. A lot of us see the problem as people saying "we need to do X, but not me". So much of the issue is people admitting there is a problem but denying that they have any impact. It's always someone's else's problem.

And some of us are sick of it from both sides.

Imagine comparing free social media to a physical copy of media that you purchased.

Are you high?

So really, this isn't a "VR is bad" but a "I hate his thing and you should too" rant, huh?

Or go the BluAir route and offload all the processing onto the cloud. They sell the new machines for the same cost as the old machines, but they're dumb as a bag of bricks. If not connected to the cloud, none of the automatic settings work correctly. When you contact customer support to troubleshoot why it doesnt work on auto mode, the first thing they have you do is delete it and reconnect it to the app. No care about updates. Its just a fan on a wifi switch now. Total junk.

Mbin is a fork of kbin: a decentralized content aggregator running on the Fediverse network (lemmy.ml)

Mbin is a decentralized content aggregator, voting, discussion and microblogging platform running on the fediverse network. It can communicate with many other ActivityPub services, including Kbin, Mastodon, Lemmy, Pleroma, Peertube. It is an open source alternative to other link aggregator services like Reddit. Melroy, lead dev, is the kind of person that if you don't take his "advice", he goes "fine, my way or the highway!". He used to be a part of Lemmy dev supposedly. Then he was part of kbin dev. Then he tried to just make his own instance. Then when that didn't work he started Mbin(which, if you haven't realized, is named after him - Melroy Bin). Dude is pathologically egotistical.
