    Harvard's grad students are with the UAW. The tension between faculty and admin boiling over could become a much bigger thing, with the UAW also organising grad students across the country. At least at my university the bulk of the courseload falls onto the grad students outside of lectures.

    I finally offboarded r/modernart to lemmy.ml/c/modernism today in anticipation of the IPO launch. Already reddit heavily censors and recuperates anything radical. That's only going to get much worse along with advertising and bots. I can't see the website lasting in its current form and that's already pathetic. Lemmy is poised to really take off as reddit ratfucks itself.

    I similarly like that feminist theory of Venus statues. They aren't dummy thicc proto-porn but the perspective of someone who's pregnant looking down at their reflection in a river and cataloguing the most dangerous/important point of their life.

    Hell yeah, the high winds which have me in a red flag wildfire warning have temporarily lowered the AQI to 18. It's normally like 60 and if that wildfire happens it will spike to 150-250 for several weeks.
