I’ve seen this issue on an MSI laptop. Looking into it I found the problem quite widespread. The hinge is way too tight and the mount point it weak

maccentric ,

I like the appleTV OS, but I really despise the remote.

maccentric ,

Are there any scripts to turn everything off with gp?

maccentric ,

I thought that was only true of the Pro model?

maccentric ,

Nope, I’m with you 100% on the browser front

Also, fuck Oprah

maccentric ,

Did you just make up a word?

maccentric ,

I think the word is perfectly cromulent but as the creator it falls upon you to define it

maccentric ,

Omaha

maccentric ,

It’s a pretty fun variant imo. Basically same rules, but you hold 4 in your hand, and must play 2 (whereas you can play only 1 in Texas Holdem)

maccentric ,

I recently discovered Aurora, which allowed me to easily install Firefox on my Fire HD. Lots of other stuff too (better launcher, for instance) but I found it because the web just sucks without Ublock

maccentric ,

I had a hard time even installing Win10 in a Win11 machine (doesn’t see the drive, couldn’t find drivers for it).

maccentric ,

Yep, but sometimes there just isn’t a driver available

“ The PBA method involves parboiling the rice in pre-boiled water for five minutes before draining and refreshing the water, then cooking it on a lower heat to absorb all the water.”

This was the only information provided about the method in the article. I do the same thing with quinoa to make it less bitter, guess I’ll start doing it with rice too.

I have only one gripe with Voyager and it’s that it doesn’t respect the dark mode setting when opening links in the built in browser, constantly frying my retinas in the process. I wish it had an option to disable the built in browser (this may be an iOS issue, as I’ve noticed many apps will flash a white screen at you when doing things like opening links in other apps).
But, Voyager is my main nonetheless

    maccentric ,

I just tried to enable it, they want $15/month.

    maccentric ,

Probably so. How do you sign up for the data removal?

    maccentric ,

Redbox is still a thing? Huh

    maccentric ,

No doubt, but I haven’t seen a Redbox since like before covid

    maccentric ,

Macs still ask me for permissions and I have no idea what’s asking to do what.

    Cornhole
