Sweet, more information to make me feel good about my VPN of choice.

nul9o9 ,

I kept my Windows drive in my pc when I switched to linux, I wanted to be able to mount it to grab stuff I missed or boot into it incase I needed it.

I haven't even mounted it for close to a year.

MFA kinda defeats the purpose of Mullvad. The less they know about you the better.

I am dreading the upcoming Windows 11 upgrades at my work. They made everything so fucking hard for me to get into to troubleshoot issues for our users.

It was my favorite UI between firestick, android tv, and roku. I'm seriously bummed out by what they've been doing.

Last time I asked it seemed like open source streaming box OS's aren't a thing.

There are already plenty of posts about the mannequin monster from Silent Hill 2 >.>

I got the cheapest 4k 55 inchers. I paid like $300 for it. My only complaint was the speakers, but a sound bar fixed that for me.

I've been looking to do something like that.

I have a NAS running my JellyFin server in a container, i'd like to have the box/pc connected to my tv running something open source with the respective clients for my streaming services.

Kodi seems like it's a hassle to get streaming apps working seamlessly.

Why do we have to do the health insurance company's job for them?

Just so tired of almost every time a doctor submits stuff to insurance, we have to be the ones to make multiple phone calls to both the doctor's office and insurance to iron everything out, figure out what the issue is (it's always a different issue), and basically be the go-between for the office and insurance. What am I...

Same with my MS. It's frustrating to know that if they fuck around and drag their feet one year, i could be getting further brain damage without my meds.

nul9o9 ,

Did you install their new version of MicroG?

If you did, you have to turn off "Google Device Registration" in the MicroG settings to stop it from buffering indefinitely.

I broke my bootloader fucking with uefi settings. I was in a panic for a few hours because I hadn't bothered to learn how that shit worked until then.

It sure was a relief when i got back into my system.

Threads is automatically hiding comments that mention Pixelfed (mastodon.social)

For anyone wondering if Threads and Facebook at large will be a fine neighbor in the space and compatible with other apps/services in the fediverse: they’re already automatically hiding comments that mention Pixelfed https://mastodon.social/@dansup/112126250737482807

I liked some of his content, but it got pretty weird thats for sure.

Search fugtrup on the various r34 sites >.>

Get better tortillas.

Stores should stock some from local mexican markets.

I was in the same boat. But Valve seriously made it easy to install and play games on Steam. If you have a spare drive, give it a shot.

Things I had to do were to turn on proton in the steam settings and installing vulkan drivers for my AMD card.

nul9o9 ,

Kde plasma does a good job at giving you gui options for console tasks.

System updates and software installs are done in their discover app i believe.

nul9o9 ,

Or claiming things happening due to a bug when the result is a clear benefit to them.

I still remember my first burger with all the condiments on it, i was a ketchup and cheese only kid. It absolutely blew my mind back then lol

nul9o9 ,

I start with either xfce or cinnamon for the fam, then install a window manager for me.

nul9o9 ,

I've set my secondary DNS to cloudflare, and my pihole still blocked ads for me. I assumed the secondary DNS server is used only if the primary can't be pinged. But i haven't actually looked into it.

nul9o9 ,

Thanks for the clarification. I'll be updating my settings.

nul9o9 ,

Oooooh, that'd really rub me the wrong way. My wife is still on a Windows PC. She'll ask my why certain changes she made get reverted, and my default answer is "Microsoft thinks it knows better than you".
