IMO Usenet is worth the cost. It's a different process than torrenting, with some extra steps, but once you wrap your head around it it's fairly simple. Depending on the indexer you use, Usenet can be much better organized and easier to find what you're looking for.

A few years back Dana White said he was going to crack down on illegal UFC streams. Then one night at a press conference he announced, "You guys remember the guy I was talking about who was doing the illegal streams? WE GOT HIM. He apologized and promised he'll never do it again." These losers are completely out of touch.

If you're interested in learning how to form a union at work, you can pick any big union and contact them with questions. It might help if they're related to your field, but it's not a requirement. I worked with the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) and they were incredibly supportive. Organizing a union at work is the best decision I've ever made.
