I don't plan to have a kid, so could someone explain it to me?

For privacy it's probably one that nobody uses. Then it's even more private because you'll never send anything

That's because they forgot the meaning of the word agility and want to apply the rules what ever the cost

It's weird for me that an application should have profiles for different user, shouldn't we use profiles on OS side, it's also less problematic in my mind

Like there's no open source project with commercial paid licence ?

I might not be the only one not knowing what gluetun was so here's the repo:

VPN client in a thin Docker container for multiple VPN providers, written in Go, and using OpenVPN or Wireguard, DNS over TLS, with a few proxy servers built-in.

didn't they announce ending the desktop app?

whyNotSquirrel ,
@whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works avatar

I went for 2FAS, authy doesn't have option to export the codes so it took some time.

That was the reason I didn't hesitate to choose 2FAS because there is an export option, so if I change my mind it won't be so much of a struggle

They don't exactly have a desktop app but there is an add-on to autocomplete the codes via phone pushed request

there's no more local version? I'm talking back in my time at school in 2009. We were playing with the classmates on our laptop in classes with a wifi router not connected to internet

"you can play on PC".... I know I shouldn't have bought a Linux microwave to play games....

I see a lot of people around me resetting passwords of services they rarely use because they forgot what password they used and don't have a password manager (or not synced one). And I don't understand why all services don't propose to generate a one time link to log in instead of changing passwords (a few services do propose it already)

Passwords are useless for all users using the same password for every account they have, and i'm sure it's a majority of users.

Share your favorite automations

I've been running HA for a while, and it's been working well; I haven't had to change much in a few months. That being said, it's fun to tinker with it, and I'm curious to hear what kind of automations the rest of the community is using. What automations are you most proud of? What are your favorite? What kind of interesting...

It's the first time I read "partner test" and I like it, I was always bothered by the usual "expression"

I was kinda expecting something quite useless but apparently actions are being taken from those companies to comply with French and UE privacy rules following the CNIL work

So they do have tools to make them comply!

Still waiting to see the 10% fine on gross sales, like maybe on twitter, with all the lay off they made I doubt that they can have RGPD compliance if people would ask in mass for their right to access data, or delete

whyNotSquirrel ,
@whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works avatar

yeah the fine is more like a warning telling them to not do this anymore

I have a vague memory about the last one, it's like an old US most wanted no?

Good thing I made the switch to 2FAS

You still need my(edit: I need mine, but you can use yours) phone but with the Firefox add-on you just need to accept the pushed notification for it to autocomplete the code

And it's opensource
