I know it's a rude question, but it's been on my mind… I'm wondering roughly what I should be expecting to outlay when I finish my set-up? So I'm assuming it includes things like domain names, hosting for backups, email providers, VPN, etc. What's a good budget to set?

I recently installed an instance of TPot Honeypot, and it looks and feels pretty fantastic....

I'm duplicating my server hardware and moving the second set off site. I want to keep the data live since the whole system will be load balanced with my on site system. I've contemplated tools like syncthing to make a 1 to 1 copy of the data to NAS B but i know there has to be a better way. What have you used successfully?

I am currently trying to create my own Lemmy instance and am following the join-lemmy.org docker guide. But unfortunately docker compose up doesn't work with the default config and throw's a yaml: line 32: found character that cannot start any token error. Is there something I can do to fix this?...

How do employees feel about this - do they miss the tips or are they happy for a less stressful workday?...

I've set up my homeserver via matrix-docker-ansible-deploy, but made the mistake of using my domain as ansible_host variable at first. I think that is why now my Coturn server doesn't work as intended. Calls can only be made (in Element) when I enable turn.matrix.org as an alternative in the settings....
