Yeah I blew up a couple planets recently... In my defense I didn't want to micro manage more planets, and the game was slowing down due to too many pops..
Placing a billion conveyor belts, strip mining a planet with no regard to the pollution I caused, and full scale genocide against the native bugs who already lived there.
I've finally started copying and pasting larger repeating patterns, and having my backpack drones be more than my inventory managers, I have a gW of accumulator energy and 1.2k solar panels, this is of course the first time I spawned within a stones throw of uranium.
Such a damn good game.
Question, when do you start utilizing trains? I've always gone straight to roboports, avoiding everything train related and having quite long conveyors, because I've assumed it's easier defend than a train, but they appear to unlock much earlier, I'm just intimidated, but maybe it's easier with blueprints?
Wayyyyyyyyy easier with blueprints. I still can’t quite figure out train signals so I let blueprints handle it for me.
This run I’m going robots/main bus, but the logistics train network is pretty fun too, for huge scale. Could start doing trains around the time you start red belts, I bet.
Trafficking humans, putting them in tiny 1x1m cages where they cannot sit, force them to do cheap labour, separate their children at birth, and kill them if they are too expensive...
Building a miles-long cobblestone road through mountains and over frozen rivers to a farming village from my house on a snowy plain then entering peoples homes while they sleep and cleaning them out of any food and valuables. Also crop theft.
And maybe pushing that wild pig into my fenced in pasture from the mountainside because I didn't have any carrots to lure him in willingly.
