I think it's coincise and clear explanation of the principle we always talk about....
My employer is planning a new manufacturing plant. I work with some of the people designing it. They currently don't have any plans to hook up to public transit, though there's a commuter train station 3 miles away. It takes 20min to bike between them or 40min currently to take a bus. The area it's in is extremely car centric....

I just passed a car that was so big it left me speechless. I've never seen a car this big, that was a "normal" car. I mean it wasn't a truck or van. It just looked like an over dimensional hatchback. It barely fit on the road. What the duck. 😳...

I, like @jon writing the linked article, didn't know Natenom, a cycle activist recently struck by a driver....
Nothing spectacular but an interesting car free alternative to suburbia with high urban density and local small shops. If large enough could have it's own school and more amenities.
